Seal of the State of Texas with blue background and white star.

Texas does not maintain a statewide animal abuse registry. However, animal cruelty convictions are public record and can be searched through the Texas DPS Criminal History Conviction Search. Searches cost $1 each (account required) and require the person’s full name and date of birth. Results cover Texas convictions and deferred adjudications only; name-based matches are not guaranteed to be the correct individual.
